The electrophysiology research group is led by Dr Tom Wong, who works closely with the departments of medical engineering, cardiac imaging and cardiac morphology at Imperial College London, as well as nationally and internationally renowned research groups.
Research areas
- Characterisation of complex arrhythmia in acquired and congenital heart disease
- Innovation in mapping and interventional therapies to target cardiac arrhythmias
- To integrate novel imaging techniques to visualise the autonomic nervous system, enabling a better understanding of the role of the nervous system in the development and management of cardiac arrhythmias.
