Asthma and allergy
The team also incorporates allergy and occupational asthma CNSs to deliver personalised care and support for individuals living with severe asthma in order to effectively manage their condition as both in- and outpatients. - Cancer
This team works with patients who have either been diagnosed with cancer, or are displaying symptoms and have come to hospital for specific treatments. - Cystic fibrosis
We work with children and families providing ongoing support for the management of cystic fibrosis, providing a personalised service across inpatient, outpatient and care at home, in partnership with other health professionals. - Interstitial lung disease
The clinical nurse specialists in this team help support and educate parents and families about interstitial lung disease. - Long-term ventilation
The LTV team works with a network of neonatal and paediatric intensive care units, high dependency units, paediatric wards, local hospitals, children's centres and hospices throughout London and the South East region. - Occupational and environmental lung disease
The clinical nurse specialists in this team work with patients to investigate and support those with occupational lung disease and occupational asthma. - Paediatric respiratory
This team works with patients and families with long-term respiratory conditions providing advice and support from diagnosis through to transition to adult services. - Thoracic surgery
The thoracic nurse practitioners at Harefield Hospital provide expert nursing input to the wider multi-disciplinary team, caring for patients undergoing a variety of thoracic surgical procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
