Biography

Dr Saeed Mirsadraee is a cardiothoracic radiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster hospitals. 

Clinical expertise

Dr Mirsadraee's specialist interest includes: 

  • cardiovascular and thoracic imaging including ischaemic and congenital heart disease
  • valve implantation planning
  • vascular imaging (eg. aortic and carotid imaging)
  • lung pathologies 
  • lung MRI.

Research interests

Dr Mirsadraee has a special interest in research and education. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters. In 2012, he was awarded the RCR medal for best scientific publication in the Clinical Radiology.

Dr Mirsadraee is also on the advisory board of the journal of the Royal College of Radiologist, Clinical Radiology. 

He regularly speaks at UK and international conferences in cardiothoracic imaging.
