November – December: shell construction complete and internal work starts

Following months of work constructing the body of the imaging centre, work begins to ‘fit-out’ the interior of the building with key structural elements like floors, walls and ceilings – starting with the lower basement. Scaffolding is also put up to prepare for façade work, and the first batch of key equipment arrives including air handling units, lifts and electric generators.
