AHSC Seminar Series: Understanding and Treating Allergies

To promote the work of the Academic Health Sciences Centre (AHSC), there will be regular lunchtime seminars for staff, patients and the public. In this seminar, two leading experts will discuss their pioneering research into allergies. 

Professor Stephen Durham is Professor of Allergy and Respiratory Medicine at Royal Brompton Hospital, London and Head of Section for Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London. His talk will focus on prevention and cure of allergic disease.

Professor Adnan Custovic is Clinical Professor of Paediatric Allergy at Imperial College London and Honorary Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He will discuss his research on understanding allergy in children.

Lunch will be served following the presentations.
