paediatric rehab programme

The paediatric rehabilitation and therapy team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and speech and language therapists.

These professionals have specialist knowledge within all areas of paediatric cardiothoracic medicine and they apply this expertise to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate children of all ages who are patients at Royal Brompton Hospital. You may be referred to the one or all of these teams by the medical team and this treatment can be before, during or after an admission.

Paediatric rehabilitation care programme

The rehabilitation care programme (RCP) is a pioneering service based at Royal Brompton Hospital created to support children diagnosed with complex congenital heart defects.
